Writing and Publishing

Course Description

Our engaging Writing and Publishing course guides students from first idea to finished book, allowing writers of all ages to bring their words to life. By working to a professional level and creating a real book, students learn the importance of planning and editing, which are the real key to writing success.

In this twelve-week course, students plan, write and edit their own work. Their work is then collected with their classmates’ into a beautiful book by i-Learner’s very own publishing team. Students attend a launch event to celebrate their achievements and receive three free copies of their book to share with friends and family.

Profits from further sales of the books are donated to a local charity of the students’ choice!

Students can join a new project each term, writing stories and poems at primary level and articles, essays, stories and more at secondary level. Termly themes include:

Greek Myths
Superheroes
Boarding School
Nature Explorers

Secondary Level:

World Cultures
The Housing Crisis
Climate Change
Mental Health
