Course Description

Our IGCSE course guides students preparing for their First Language IGCSEs in English Language and English Literature.

Our course broadly follows the Cambridge IGCSE syllabus, and helps students polish all the key skills required for exam success. For the Language Paper, students will build a good understanding of the demands of a range of writing skills such as narrative, descriptive, and response writing, while also strengthening key reading skills.

For the Literature Paper, students will be guided through all the essential techniques that will help them to understand the literature they are studying for their own exams. Students will acquire broad skills that help them tackle any piece of literature, while also spending time refining their understanding of their own set texts.

The skills built at the IGCSE level are foundational for further study of international pre-university exams and beyond.
