Teacher Diaries: Ms. Esme – Teaching Philosophy
TweetFrom my own experience with learning and teaching, I understand the importance of interest and motivation. These are two essential elements for the learning process as they encourage enthusiasm to know more.
This is especially true for younger learners. Mastering a second language requires persistence and perseverance. Once students have developed an enthusiasm for learning English, they are more likely to stick with it, even when it is difficult.
This is the reason why I always try to spark and maintain students’ interest in learning English through fun activities. I incorporate things like board games, role playing, and music, in order to make learning exciting. It is only when students
discover the fun of learning English that they will push themselves to achieve more.
