Scarlett Long
One of the most important factors in student success is building confidence in their own ability to answer questions and succeed academically. I strive to build confidence through enjoyment, so my students have fun and realise learning is not so scary. If they believe in themselves, every child can succeed!
Scarlett Long graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA in Psychology and Linguistics. Her studies in Linguistics focused on grammar, word meanings and how children learn languages, and she hopes to share her enthusiasm for grammar with her students. Scarlett’s teaching experience includes working in a school in the UK for young people with learning disabilities, helping with their complex communication and education needs in an individualised way. In her spare time, Scarlett has also volunteered for a student mental health charity, helping her to understand and support young people through their problems.
