The i-Learner Oxford Study Tour programme gives students the opportunity to boost their academic abilities and expand their cultural education. This programme involves studying at the University of Oxford and attending advanced English classes, subject workshops and drama practices with a view to boosting all-round English proficiency, critical thinking and communication skills. Students will also have the chance to visit top boarding and private schools in the area, as well as other world-renowned universities. For those looking to study in the UK in the future, additional parent workshops will be offered on admissions and the British secondary and tertiary education systems.

Our Tours
Carroll (age 7-10)
Be as adventurous as Alice in Wonderland and explore Oxford with the Carroll group. Students stay with their parents in Oxford, and the whole family can enjoy cultural excursions. |
Tolkien (age 11-14)
Think deeply and stretch your imagination, just as J.R.R. Tolkien did when writing his famous Lord of the Rings. Students stay with their parents in Oxford, and the whole family can enjoy cultural excursions. |
Sayers (age 15-17)
Take part in a rigorous educational experience and prepare for applications to the best universities in the world. Students will experience an immersive education like no other. |
Why?
AcademicsOver the course of the programme, students will be stretched to improve their critical thinking, writing and presentation skills in a variety of English language and literature classes. Lessons will require students to engage with sophisticated texts, complete advanced writing tasks, work on research assignments and produce presentations. Students will also be expected to complete pre-sessional reading tasks. At the end of the programme, students will receive a bound portfolio to display their completed work. |
ExtracurricularAlongside academic sessions, the programme encourages students to acquire an all-round education by offering the opportunity to do sports, engage in volunteering and perform theatrical pieces. These activities will not only increase the students’ confidence, they will also give students a holistic experience of British education. |
Field TripsIn addition to local visits to the many historical and famous sites in Oxford, students will have the opportunity to go on field trips to Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare, and to London, a global city and home to some of the most famous universities in the world. Students will broaden their cultural knowledge through museum and theatre visits, while also gaining insights into UK education by visiting famous universities. Students will have the additional opportunity to visit prestigious secondary schools in the Oxford area and see life at boarding and private schools at close quarters. |
