By reading Kenn Nesbitt’s This Morning is our History Test in my Saturday writing class, we explored different structures of poems, including their rhyme schemes and metre. Students’ task was to then create their own poem based on the model of Kenn Nesbitt’s work. Below is a marvellous piece written by Hayley Ho in P1. She should be proud; not many students her age could write a  poem with such sophistication, humour and coherence. Keep it up, Hayley!
